Hugs Ceramics is now offering private lessons for 1-3 people - sign up alone or bring a friend! No more than 3 people per 6 week session to allow plenty of 1 on 1 time to work on technique. In these private lessons, students will learn more in depth about the stages of the clay & how to push the limits of the clay to create & explore. Explore basic techniques for throwing forms such as cups and bowls. We will also learn about trimming, attaching handles, surface techniques, and glazing! Learn about how the clay is fired in the kiln & experiment with glazing techniques such as layering.
Great for people looking to...
- begin a new hobby & want ample 1 on 1 time to really learn all aspects of pottery
- learn in a private setting & go at your own pace
- explore/hone in on your craft with 1 on 1 time to work on larger more involved projects
All levels welcome! 6 Week Private Lessons are repeatable as they are tailored to each individual.

Students will need to bring:
- Hand towel or Apron
Students will be allowed 1 make up class at no charge - any additional make-up classes will be subject to a studio fee of $25 per class.
