As of January 1st, 2024, all 6 week classes will be 3 hours instead of 2 hours.
Effective February 2024, all 6 week classes will have a 1 week break between week 5 & 6 to allow drying/firing time for final week of class.
Beginning January 1st , 2024 - MAKE UP POLICY - *UPDATED 12/6/2023* - Students will be allowed 1 make up class per 6 week session. This class will be added on at the end of the 6 week session. The date/time of the makeup class will be depend on when the student's pieces are able to be safely bisque fired & ready to glaze. Due to kiln firing schedules & kiln space, this makeup class may be up to 2-4 weeks after the end of the 6 week session.
*Pre-Requisite* - Must have taken at least 2 Beginner's Pottery Classes @ Hugs Ceramics or another pottery studio
Comfortable with the basics of throwing and ready to learn more advanced forms? This class is for you! Students will explore techniques for throwing larger forms, lidded forms, adding sculptural and other surface techniques to pieces. This class is for students who are ready to develop their own style of pottery/ceramics and are encouraged to brainstorm ideas on what they want to make. Some examples include teapots/tea sets, vases, jars/lidded vessels, luminaries, & more!
Please note: this class is for Adults only 18+

Students will need to bring:
- Hand towel or Apron
- It is also recommended to trim your nails, as short as you're comfortable with.
Class sizes are limited to 8 people to ensure 1 on 1 time with the instructor.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be requested at least 1 week before the session. Cancellations made less than 1 week prior to the session starting date will receive a 50% refund. Any Cancellations made day of OR after a session has started will not be issued a refund & cannot be put toward a future session.
