In this 2 part handbuilding workshop, you will create a slab mug & add sculptural elements inspired by Hobbits & The Shire. Come back for part 2, where we glaze our creations!
Part 1 - Handbuild a slab mug form & add sculpted elements inspired by Hobbits and The Shire while watching LoTR: The Fellowship of the Ring
Part 2 - Glaze your creation while watching LoTR: The Two Towers
$150 per person includes
- both workshop days with 4 hour guided instruction
- clay
- tools
- glaze
- bisque and glaze firings
*You must be able to attend both dates for workshop*
*There are 3 days/times to choose from & you cannot mix & match*
Option 1 - Morning
Saturday June7th 10am-2pm & Saturday June 29th 10am-2pm
Option 2 - Morning
Saturday July 13th 10am-2pm & Saturday July 27th 10am-2pm
Option 3 - Evening
Saturday July 13th 6pm-10pm & Saturday July 27th 6pm-10pm
Pieces will be finished approx. 1-2 weeks after event due to kiln space & firing schedules.
