*Pre-Requisite* - Must have taken at least 2 Sessions of 6 Week Classes @ Hugs Ceramics or equal amount of time at another pottery studio

Ready to take your pottery skills to the next level? Our 6-week Intermediate Pottery Wheel Class is designed for students who have experience on the pottery wheel and are ready to build confidence, refine their technique, and challenge themselves with more advanced forms.

Throughout the six weeks, you'll focus on improving your centering, pulling, and shaping techniques while exploring more complex forms, larger pieces, and greater consistency in your work. You'll work on developing your throwing skills, refining your craftsmanship, and learning techniques that will help you become a more independent and confident potter.

With guided instruction, demonstrations, and plenty of hands-on practice, you'll have the opportunity to push your creative boundaries, troubleshoot challenges, and develop your own style as a ceramic artist.

Some prior pottery wheel experience is required. Come ready to challenge yourself, experiment, and get your hands dirty!

Class Fee Includes:

• 3 Hour Weekly Class (3rd hour is optional & treated as open studio time)

Students will need to bring:

• Hand towel or Apron
• It is also recommended to trim your nails, as short as you're comfortable with.

Class sizes are limited to 6 people to ensure 1 on 1 time with the instructor.

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations must be requested at least 1 week before the session. Cancellations made less than 1 week prior to the session starting date will receive a 50% refund. Any Cancellations made day of OR after a session has started will not be issued a refund & cannot be put toward a future session.

MAKE UP POLICY - Students will be allowed 1 make up class per 6 week session. This class will be added on at the end of the 6 week session. The date/time of the makeup class will be depend on when the student's pieces are able to be safely bisque fired & ready to glaze. Due to kiln firing schedules & kiln space, this makeup class may be up to 2-4 weeks after the end of the 6 week session.
